Recommended Usage: 0.1% – 2%
Mixing Method: Should be added into the water (water-phase) of formulation. Gradually add water in a small amount. And keep stirring until it dissolves. Take about 15 minutes for complete dissolution.
Shampoos / Conditioners: 0.1–0.5% (add to aqueous phase or pre-dissolved solution)
Body Washes / Cleansers: 0.05–0.3% (add after main surfactants are dissolved)
Baby & Sensitive Skin Care: 0.1–0.2% (pre-dissolved at moderate temperatures)
Styling & Hair Sprays: 0.05–0.2% (add to aqueous phase)
Recommended Use & Handling Methods
Method 1: Pre-solubilization (Recommended)
Prepare a 2% aqueous solution of Cartionic GUAR Adjust the pH slightly acidic with a small amount of citric acid to accelerate hydration. Once fully hydrated, slowly add the solution to the pre-dissolved surfactant phase under stirring, preferably at 70–75°C.
Method 2: Direct Dispersion
Sprinkle Cartionic GUAR into vigorously stirred cold water to avoid clumping. Disperse evenly, then add other surfactants and heat to dissolve. Add a small amount of citric acid to promote rapid hydration if needed. After complete hydration, proceed with normal production operations.
Compatibility: Works well with most ingredients.
Solubility: Beige to tan granular powder
Application: Conditioner, Body wash, Bar soap, Lotions and creams, Wipes, Shave cream and gel, etc.
