Rice Bran carrier Oil (Extra Virgin)

Description

Our Rice Bran carrier Oil is obtained by CO₂ extraction from the sprouts and glumes separated during rice production. It has a balanced proportion of oleic and linoleic acid and a high content of palmitic acid similar to the fatty acid distribution of argan oil. Rice Bran Oil  contains gamma-oryzanol – a combination of ferulic acids, phytosterols, lecithins and tocopherols.

Rich in natural plant sterols and antioxidant gamma oryzanol, Rice bran is an excellent moisturiser which is both soothing and smoothing. Rice bran oil is excellent when used as the key ingredient in facial and skin oils as it imparts a beautiful soft feeling, which you can add other oils in order to enhance the skin benefit effects.

Rice Bran oil is suitable for all skin types. The smoothness imparted makes Rice Bran oil ideal for formulation in face creams or for preparations on areas of dry skin that are exposed to continual damage.

Rice Bran is incredibly stable, even at high temperature and has a high resistance to oxidation, making incredibly suitable for skin usage, to protect, nourish and replenish.
