Description

Sodium (C14–16) Alpha Olefin Sulfonate Powder is a high-performance, biodegradable anionic surfactant designed for modern cleansing formulations. It is produced through a continuous sulfonation process using SO₃ (sulfur trioxide), followed by neutralization with sodium hydroxide. The system is stabilized with a buffering agent and carefully dried to obtain a high-active powder or bead form with excellent performance characteristics. This surfactant offers strong cleansing efficiency, rich flash foaming, and improved mildness compared to traditional lauryl sulfates, making it an ideal option for sulfate-free formulations.
