Murumuru butter is Produced from the seeds of the Murumuru tree, this butter melts beautifully into the skin so we recommend not over complicating your formulation here, take it for what it is. A nutritious ingredient with a super fatty acid profile, which is superb for deep moisturizing. Not only is this good for the skin but also when applied to the hair, it acts as a protector & nourisher of the roots.

Murumuru seeds contains approximately 40% butter which consists of lauric, myristic, and oleic acid, as well as vitamins A and C. These nutrients helps to smooth the appearance of fine lines and helps in fading the looks of marks and spots. Murumuru Butter can also be used in hair as it is light, so hair looks smooth and shiny without looking greasy.

This murumuru butter is suitable for incorporation into cosmetics products for the care of impure and acne prone skin. It has direct moisturising properties due to its glycerol content of about 5%. The melting point is approximately 33°C and can be used to extend other butters offering  a product greater consistency at higher ambient temperatures. Its light yellow in color with mild odor

Recommended Storage: This butter should be stored in cool temperatures away from direct sunlight and moisture in an airtight container. The butter will become liquid above ambient temperatures, but will re-solidify upon cooling without affecting functionality. (Current Lot will expire: 06-2025)
