Eczema and Rosacea: Thanks to its potent anti-inflammatory properties, honeysuckle extract can treat skin conditions like eczema and rosacea. It’s incredibly soothing for the skin and can also stop itchiness. Basically any kind of skin irritation can be treated with Japanese honeysuckle extract.
Sun Damage: Rich in flavonoids and saponins, honeysuckle can protect the skin against free radicals that lead to skin damage and signs of aging. So if you like to spend a lot of time out in the sun, make sure you find a moisturizer or sunscreen that contains honeysuckle flower extract. It will keep your skin safe from harsh UV rays and prevent damage caused by too much sun exposure.
Dullness: There are a number of skincare products that target dullness. The next time you look for one, look out for honeysuckle in its ingredients. Honeysuckle is a natural treatment for uneven skin tone and dullness. It’s an excellent skin conditioning ingredient that can really transform your complexion and give it that glow it’s been missing.
Grime: Because honeysuckle is anti-bacterial, it can serve a natural cleanser or toner. It’s gradually making its way into many skincare products due to its powerful cleansing effects. While it hasn’t been proven to fight acne, the fact that it is antibacterial and anti-inflammatory suggests that it could treat symptoms of acne and prevent breakouts.
Rashes: Rashes are the body’s reaction to inflammation. That is why you need to use an anti-inflammatory in order to get rid of rashes on the skin. Honey suckle is anti inflammatory and an excellent formula to treat rashes and poison ivy.
